The upcoming anti #openweb feature from #google, Web Environment Integrity API, made me angry. But it turns out, #apple has already shipped this (Private Access Tokens) in Safari. 🤬So, I drafted a reverse proposal. I don't understand what people are smoking when they argue that "India shouldn't be spending $$ on space missions because there's widespread poverty". At less than 5 Rs (6 cents) per citizen spent, #Chandrayaan3 is the best bang for buck ever, in terms of cultural inspiration alone! 😁💪

Remember kids, there's a pernicious reason why #Google redirects "http://maps.google.com" to "http://google.com/maps". Because of this redirect, the location permission that you grant to Google Maps also automatically becomes available to Google Search - making your search queries more valuable to advertisers.#privacy

#Switzerland mandates #OpenSource software for all public software!This makes perfect sense. @jan I have contributed to Whalebird, Elk and other AP projects. But the reality is that Mastodon dominates the entire ActivityPub ecosystem and is holding everything back.

Even multiple untrusted devices can work with each other to ensure that your data gets synchronized to all trusted devices.
