@vivi @shibao @mia@shrimptest.0x0.st afaik once you want to do "modifier" behavior without using an actual "modifier" key in macos, you can't plug into the system keyboard driver to set additional modifier keys, you instead have to intercept all key presses after the driver has already processed them, run logic on what keys are currently being pressed, and then send out new keyboard events which run through the keyboard driver again. makes everything a lot slower and a lot finnickier.
