       A friend of mine, he's 19, is very very worried about all the anti-gay laws. Understandable. It's a scary time right now, but was born after anti-sodomy laws were struck down in 2003. He was 11 when gay marriage was legalized. He's only seen the good times. I told him we've been through scary times before. And we survive by protecting each other, supporting each other, and having solidarity. I guess what I'm saying is reach out to the younger queer folk in your life. They're scared.

       Apparently there's some new definition of cease fire that I don't know about. "We only agree to a cease fire if you have to stop fighting but we don't have to" is a ghoulish take tbh.

       This is the straw that will cause me to leave that site permanently (I only keep it to keep in touch with certain friends). I have people blocked, people from my real life, that I don't want to see my posts on there. Folks who don't know my sexuality and who I don't want to learn about it for my safety. Fuck this.

       @cody Honestly I came into Postgre because the CRM software we use at my work uses it for its reports and I got tired of begging developers to write new reports for me when I needed them. So I got on Coursera or something like that and learned myself.

       @ricci @regehr I live in Cache Valley where "Utida" is supposedly located. I've never heard of it. A quick Google search seems to think it's "A neigborhood of Cornish" which... does a town of 287 have distinct neighborhoods? Or maybe just on the Idaho side of Cornish, but that's Weston and Weston has 587 people. It shouldn't really have distinct neighborhoods either.And Calneva is a resort on Tahoe I think, not a town...As such I'm skeptical of all of this map now.Other than Texarkana.
