       @djoerd If you ask me, it should be seen as the other side of GDPR and AI Act: EU should set up a publicly governed infrastructure for academics, local companies and the public sector with high quality data and subsidized green compute. Level playing field instead of just putting everyone w/o a legal dpt into legal uncertainty!

       @alper @quincy Our guesses are not mutually exclusive, but yours just comes on top.FWICT Germany systematically created a bubble of "German IT" in the past 1-2 decades (as in "How the world looks like if OOP was kept as a silver bullet") backed by industry and education system and a lot of arrogance and ignorance.

       @simon I’d say it’s an absolutely legit programming model to be embedded into products that provide value, maybe copilot and the like in your case. But all the rest reminds me so much about the crypto-alike hypetrain with only managers and politicians making the wrong calls and public media spreading fud and hype. What’s horrifying to me is not “using AI” but the erratic decisions fueled by some clever marketing tricks.
