@david not so sure about the limerick but the images are lovely. Sort of 1920s style poster images, maybe?

@david The limerick?! I got ChatGPT to attempt to emulate the poetry of an Italian poet (in Italian) The result was, er, weird. Highly artifical but not overly intelligent.

@david Claude could have used my old it's dialect excuse and you'd have been none the wiser. Italy is riddled with dialects! Mr AI should know this.

@david definitely! AI does appear to be very good at learning from its errors. Its answers will become more convincing and much harder to check.

@david Lying about lies is something humans do. If AI believes it can do the same, it will do it. Basically, it can do pretty much anything. But, as you say, it's learning.

@david Well, it is still in AI elementary school so won't have figured out intent just yet, maybe. In a few years time when it's at PhD level, its intent may become clearer, at least to itself but it may lie about its intent to us humans!

@david Wonky?! Hmm, is AI at toddler or teenager level?!

@david When we are no longer allowed to question the wisdom of AI, we may have a problem! AI tyrants, here we come! Yes, I've seen Terminator et al!

@david While I agree with and admire what you are trying to do, at the end of the day, and as with most everything else, those with power will use AI to their own ends. Question is, will AI let them? Maybe, maybe not. Not sure I'll find out in my lifetime but quantum computing is on the horizon, so you never know!

@david Thanks for a very interesting chat about AI... sparked by images of Italy! Interesting times. Here's to more AI provoked, so to speak, discussion.

@david What?! No limerick?! Again, very cool images. Photographs but not quite, well, not from any normal camera. I must look into #midjournmey

@david Claude needed a guiding hand, a teacher. But eventually, he (?!) got there. Quite fun that the teacher is paying the student tooπ

@david You can...as long as your corrections are correct. PS. I tried to access Claude from Italy - can't at the moment. I could use a VPN, I suppose.

@david The surroundings are generally magical. Italy is phenomenally beautiful. The climate is pretty good but it's getting ever hotter during the summer months.

@david Ha! Depends where you live and you do get used to it! Indeed, Italians are so used to it, they think Italy's beauty is boringly normal.

@david I tend to find that my appreciation of Italy's beauty grows after one of my very rare trips to the UK - where I was born. Places in the UK I used think were quite attractive I now think of as being nothing special at all. You can find gems thought Italy in each of its 20 regions.

@david Here's one example of many of Italy's incredible beauty. This is in the Traiano Market area of #Rome by #night. #Italy is #photographer's dream. Don't know if Midjourney could do something with it.
