(1/2) @malin That article looks like advertisement for ESET antivirus products. It lacks crucial details about the discovered malware. How exactly can the malware be installed on a victim's computer? What executables are affected? What are the indicators of the malware? What address does it "call" if we deal with a trojan? All those questions are far away from being answered and the readers are treated like housewives without any brain cells.

@HorlogeSkynet @mozilla I read the "Important notes" and I'm confused. Am I getting that right: all authentication requests will be redirected to the Mozilla server? So basically Mozilla will track your family members even though you are using your own server? #Firefox #Mozilla

@debian I agree with Chris Lamb talking about the danger of melding "corporate interests" with the interests of a community distribution. I hope Debian will continue avoiding corporate interests. But I find quite disappointing his romanticized thoughts about cloud services because cloud services make Internet centralized. The future belongs to the decentralized Internet. His words about revising the definitions of free software are very disturbing.

@TheOuterLinux @neothefox I didn’t know about Friedman and the $1M donation. We need to talk more about those things. And now we got quite a few topics. #Linux CoC conspiracy, Mozilla shenanigans, Qt push, Canonical shenanigans, GNOME conspiracy. All of these have something in common: they are connected to the big money of some tech giants. Obviously, those corporations want to quietly influence the free #opensource community. I think we should openly talk about sabotage here. #freedom
