I'm looking to do some #video post processing where I draw a trail behind a selected object as it moves around the video over time. I'd like to use #Guile or #Racket --does anyone know if there are libs to support this?In my head the algo is:- foreach frame in video: - find center position of object - add position to tracer list - foreach tracer in tracer list: - draw tracer on frameI have zero experience working with video, so no existing ties to language/lib

My next thought is now to extract the frames using #ffmpeg and then process each frame in Racket, since Racket has a pretty intuitive image loading/drawing/writing workflow.

@falktx I'm sorry to hear that. I want Purism to suceed, but I pulled out from the Librem phone preorder because something seemed off about them. Unfortunately, I'm hearing more stories like this that don't look good for them.

Well, my wife, @jolierouge , has been the lone guinea pig at fuzzy roots for a week and I want to migrate my account but I'm a bit nervous.The instance _is_ running but it doesn't perform like I expect (here on a 5yo[?] instance).E.g. Bah, I'm so nervous to migrate my account to my new instance. Fuzzy Roots has been running well for a couple of weeks, but I'm honestly mostly nervous about missing features in Akkoma after using Mastodon for years.At any rate, if you're following me or I'm following you, then something is probably going to happen this week. And if I lose all my followers or have to rebuild my following, then it's not a big deal --it's just social media anyway 🦐
