Had a blast reading some fun graphic novels this weekend. Soup of Doom is so silly, but reminds me of reading comics as a kid. The monster book is almost like a Tin Tin meets Sherlock Holmes, steam punk monster hunting. Lovely illustrations and genuinely great characters. Mooncakes is a very sweet witchy teen romance. Haven’t started on the Underworld book yet, but I’m looking forward to it. #books #graphicNovel #reading

I took this through the car window at dusk, on my way home from seeing the in-laws. The moon was too gorgeous, although it’s not that clear through the glass. I love the pale blue skies, low lying sun and skeletal trees. This is also prime hawk watching month. I saw two yesterday, both had their back turned and their wings folded back. You could see all the color and detail of their wings. They looked like they had beautiful embroidered overcoats on. #trees #birds
