My assembler gasm80 now allows for offset/length in INCBIN, and I've added the FORG directive to allow for bank-switching. Tested with the 240p Test Suite for Colecovision/MSX which now uses gasm80 as the official assembler #retro #z80 #colecovision #msx https://github.com/nanochess/gasm80

@foone wow! Your phrase summarized it very nicely. It's true because I do programming for the money, but from time in time, I just do things for fun like the Ray Tracer in a boot sector https://youtu.be/Njtn_1jBa9c?si=oW3hqYtjsw0e-aQV and the Bob Ross comparison made me smile, because I thought in adding the happy word to my thinking discourse "wow! We can save a register here if we move this happy register there and we avoid a pop, now the stack looks like a happy stack, and we saved a few bytes. It's the little joy."

I don't want to disappoint the 3 Body Problem series fans, but in episode 4 where an old IBM PC shows alien messages, the screen resolution is wrong and outside of the capabilities of the CGA and Hercules video cards available in 1984. #DOS #IBMPC

@benjedwards I've made a BASIC language where any program you write is automatically portable to ten platforms based on Texas Instruments TMS9128/9129. Nine have Z80 CPU, one has a 6502 CPU!
