#StopProject2025 Here's an easy action to take: File a complaint against the Heritage Foundation, requesting the IRS revoke its nonprofit 501c(3) status. I've already downloaded the form and filled out the top half (which you can modify). All you have to do is fill out the bottom half and email it to eoclass@irs.gov. See attached form.

#ThickTrunkTuesday #StreetArt #Maine October 2024, Peaks Island, Maine. Three years ago there was a wild Nor'Easter that swept through the Portland area. A large tree came down leaving this stump that a local sculptor turned into a fabulous octopus. Former stump-now-octopus and its creator are shown in the attached photo.The artist is Doug Smith, and he lives on Peaks Island. #3GoodThings 1. I drove through a snowstorm--in both directions--to eat leftover Thanksgiving delights at my oldest friends home. And made it back home in one piece!2. After a lunch of leftovers, my dear friend packed me up with a ton of leftovers because she and her husband hate leftovers and I love them. I'll be eating this haul for many days. (photo attached)3. My dog has decided that snow is not dangerous and agreed to go out and do her business in it, as long as I escorted her.

#Pottery #Ceramics Yesterday, there was a HUGE surprise that occurred in the pottery studio. A fellow potter's pot that she made the previous day had a little seedling growing from the inside wall. She didn't plant it there--it just happened. She was using reclaimed clay, and all sorts of things fall into it--apparently including little airborne seeds. She carved some leaves into the outside of her pot (it will become a coffee mug) to commemorate the brave little seedling. (photos attached)

@holsta @futurebird I was on various online dating sites for four miserable years, where I focused on top 90% matches. It was one horrible first date after another. I then decided the algorithm was for shit, and looked at the bottom 30%. That's where I found my husband nearly 13 years ago. He encouraged me to write a blog about it.
