@clive one of my family friends sang on the original album. His story is hilarious, apparently in addition to singing extremely slowly, they had to enunciate the words very clearly. Otherwise you couldn’t understand it at speed. And the studio wall was a giant mirror, so they had to stop and re-record a few times because they were laughing at themselves in the mirror.
