check out the fediverse, we have:- a TV trivia game show winner- the guy that made not one, but two JavaScript engines- the Dutch government- people that worked on software that lets them know where every train in Europe is, all at once- people that got videogames to work on gaming routers- the person that made a Minecraft server in a scripting language from the 70s- Linux phone users- some German government- furries- a person that can get Minecraft to run on a PowerBook G4 (30 FPS)

Hey #eink tablet fans, I was wondering whether you could recommend a tablet that...:- costs less than 350€.- does _not_ offer a cloud subscription (like the reMarkable 2)?This would really help out a family friend - as I am not sure whether cheaper alternatives like the Wacom One would be practical enough for his use case.

What I find a bit weird about the Linux phone scene is that you see people targeting all of these wonderful devices by OnePlus and otherwise, but not the 20-40€ Android phones running an old version and shipping with adware.Perhaps that could be changed.

#Codeberg has a rather small team backing it. As registrations on Codeberg have gone way up as of the past week, we could always use help from (both from non-technical and technical volunteers). To see what we have to offer, take a look here: https://codeberg.org/Codeberg/Contributing/wikiThere isn't necessarily a time commitment involved (if at all). Say, if 20 people spent 5-15 minutes to, say, send a pull request to something that annoyed them in our documentation, it would be in a much better state.
