@kravietz You're right, a 40% capacity factor for wind is too high. But it doesn't matter. Energy storage will cover the night and low wind hours. Is nuclear dispatchable? As I understand it, its so expensive that the only way to keep it profitable is to run it at full capacity continuously. Not exactly the poster boy of flexibility.

@futurebird Could it just be confusion about the sudden light change making them think its daytime? Like how animals will behave strangely during eclipses because of the sudden darkness making them think it's nighttime.

Misunderstood concepts, mistakenly explained, but with utter confidence and self-assured tone - absolutely no doubt or uncertainty.So, if for topics in which I'm versed I can see it's not reliable, how could I rely on it for anything else?

@davidho My dream is to start a car company selling the simplest fucking EV on the planet. Battery, motor, power controllers, AC and that's it. Even the fucking windows should be manual.
