@Gina I've tried a lot of e-tools over the last year. The only one that stuck was a paper journal - 'engineering day book' sounds cooler - and using the Bullet Journal method. Keeps track of my tasks, progress towards goals, events, ... Keeping it up for now, been since September so it seems this is sticking.
