I'm thinking of hosting some repository mirrors. I have 250GB of space on the server.Right now I'm thinking of LaTeX/ctan and Linux Mint because I use both and neither has a big company behind them. Did anyone have any other thoughts or recommendations?

@jason123santa @ascott @cmhobbs ^ I agree with this. I don't see any reason to use husky for mastodon unless you also have a pleroma instance (and want to use only one app).

@kev @RyuKurisu @mike @Gargron if the posts are signed in addition to encrypted, users could theoretically report abuse to admins in cleartext.Then, the signatures could be used to verify that the cleartext report is the true message that was sent.

I finished my generic ActivityPub external follow tool:https://apfollow.mwt.me/?user=mwt&instance=fosstodon.orgAs you can see, you need to specify your username and instance in the query strings.I think this solves a real issue, especially for more esoteric AP instances.I've tested it with pleroma, mastodon, misskey, and the WordPress AP plugin. @kev @zstix I used to use Zoho and moved to Fastmail. The main issue for me is that a lot of real correspondence was going to spam in Zoho mail.

@kev @zstix I had the issue in 2016. At the time, it was so widespread that people were clamoring for an option to disable spam filtering altogether.This option was added in 2017.At this time, the $1/month plan was free and yet Zoho wasn't a service that was frequently recommended.I mostly thought Zoho was fine, but it has issues. I went to login to my account to see if the spam option is still there. Unfortunately, my account settings will not load.No issues with IMAP/SMTP though.
