People on #Twitter hyping up #Bluesky tells me one thing: they haven’t learned anything from what happened to the platform after Musk bought it.But hey, let’s jump onto the next VC-funded Jack-Dorsey-powered train. What could possibly go wrong? 🙃When I (mostly) left Twitter a couple of months ago, I was kinda sad to not hear from some folks who stayed there anymore. At this point, I’m not so sure I even want to hear from them any longer 🤷🏻

I started contributing meta data like opening hours, business websites, social media links, and Wi-Fi to @openstreetmap. With @organicmaps this is not to hard and kinda fun.I encourage you to do the same and start with your hometown for example. You can usually get most of the information from the business’s or public facility’s website.This is a great alternative to Candy Crush or whatever to fill idle time. And instead of burning money for loot boxes, you contribute to a fantastic project.

Apparently, screaming on the internet and review-bombing is still a viable method to move big corporations.In the case of Sony and Helldivers 2 this is of course a positive outcome. But this method is also leveraged by the right wing against progressive movements. I don’t understand people getting into the bus and only then starting to search for their ticket in the depths of their backpack. You just had 5 minutes of idle time at the bus stop where you could’ve done that already? Don’t you know that bus schedules are usually rather tight and there’s only a few seconds of planned time at each stop?
