@Moon the invasion of cybersecurity culture into legit hacker culture has been bumming me out for a while. There used to be a lot of cool stuff going on, people hacking things for the hell of it. Not for money or because a corperation said its okay, just because they thought it would be cool.Defcon talks were punk rock and they cussed and drank and had fun presenting. Now people introduce themselves and talk about their hobbies before they actually talk about what ever the talk is supposed to be about.I didnt get into hacking to get a job for a corporation, I dont want to be a penetration tester, I dont want to be an "ethical hacker". Its all bullshit and their all posers.Maybe I'm just looking back at things with rose tinted glasses. Ill keep beating the drum of the old ways.Alright, my schizo rant is over. Sorry for the long post.Eventually ill write a sequel about the term "ethical hacking" and hows its a load of crap.
