       @todayilearned  I had to use one of these while visiting family friends as a young child.  It literally scared the crap out of me because I was afraid it would turn on while I was using it and burn me alive.

       @todayilearned  I saw it in a large theater when it first came out.  There were three other people there and two of them had come with me to see it.  Loved it  from that first viewing and watch it almost every year in the dead of winter with the heat turned off, wrapped in a blanket. #TheThing
