I'd been running away from some bad sorts. And at some point met some time related folks. They'd warned me that my timeline had too many events. When I got to my timeline there were 1000s of me. Each one represented some step of every different thing I had been and will be throughout my life. I didn't stop to smell the roses. I was compelled to check a glove in the corner. There were others there, and I could tell that eventually they'd notice me and it'd be bad.

I found the globe, which I apparently left for myself there later. Seems like this whole 'place at the end of time' thing became a regular occurrence. There were a couple friends with me. Found California on the globe and after having to fake a few things to trick the guards while the portal loaded we all made it back.

When I got back in the middle of winter. There was snow everywhere. I entered a friend's house and was sitting near a window after taking off my shoes and noticed there was a man outside harassing her. So I scrabbled off the floor and grabbed the closest shoes and chased him off. I had put on climbing shoes, but they did the job. I had to leave after that. I had a boxing match to get to. As someone else.

I got there and got into a yelling match with the coordinator. I was suppoy to throw the match and wasn't planning on it. I was still wearing the climbing shoes when I got to the locker room to change. For whatever reason there was loose popcorn in my backpack before. It was still there but my gear was mixed in. I woke up after trying to get all the pieces of my gear for a few minutes.

@teascade No, and largely because I was unaware. I had an affinity for girls when I was younger, but largely I was a very gendervoid art child until I started college and figured out that exploring was an option.

I'm still semi-struggling with so many questions about whether or not what I'm planning to do makes sense. Is it just another settler colonial layer of whiteness I need to get rid of. Can I actually help my community this way. Surely it's a way I can survive and potentially thrive, but that doesn't mean I'll end up helping people in any meaningful way.

@djsumdog Yeah it's up there. Unfortunately the sport being young comes with the downsides of poor accident prevention. Even now not every league has good practices around concussion prevention. Most people retire due to knee joint problems because of the way we learn to fall.
