Can’t wait for Facebook to develop a new, absolutely niche and convoluted solution nobody would ever use outside of, well, Facebook, as a response to their recent outage, call it “the successor to DNS and BGP”, spin it into an endless hype cycle, which will then trigger all the non-Facebook companies to rush to adopt it prematurely and unnecessarily, getting stuck, despair and going out of business in the process #kubernetes

I would like to know how many CPU/GPU cycles are wasted by companies integrating “snow” into their apps during November and December, for cute effect, as compared to trading crypto with the same dedicated resources.. I would wager they’re both equally wasteful (and completely unnecessary, on top!), just that the “snow” is run on a gazillion units more.. 😕
