Forgot to post for yesterdays #FreeCADFriday but here's a CNC bit tray I'm going to cut today (if the garage isn't toooo cold).

After some Path WB struggles (and a cold garage) I got it cut.

@element @amatecha @matrix @liaizon do you keep metrics on how frequently cops use this to avoid oversight or public scrutiny? seems like the thing you could add to your sales material

@lupyuen Eh, I'm just ditching #Ubuntu, tied of Snap being forced onto my systems, and it really feels like #Cononical is going to pull their #Redhat any year now.

damn, my streak has come to an end. I've generally followed protocol better than most people around me, but between being overly laxed and partying my immune system into the ground this weekend I finally got COVID. faaaaark.

With some ESP-NETIF drivers in place, time to start digging into the #CoAP portion of this more. One of the questions I was mulling during the stream was if I would need to do device signaling on my own, with low level frame or UDP or if CoAP could handle this. Some reading on CoAP I learned it is supposed to accept broadcasts on 224.0.1.187. But updating the code to request on that address didn't work. Next up is to investigate how to get CoAP/#LwIP to listen on that broadcast address.

holy heck! I got #CoAP over #LoRa working! I had expected more issues with packet management, waiting for TX to complete specifically but one again it's 'just worked'. Admittedly with only two devices in a tame environment but still super cool. In addition I found the 223.0.blah broad address wasn't going to work without additional work but turns out CoAP with #LwIP will respond to requests on, 255.255.255.255.
