Fediverse is maybe gonna change TF out of this place. Or be a drama fest. Minds will be the one free speech vector into a network that's probably going to be as big as any of the major socials across them all. IDK how it will all go down, but it's gonna be wild. Once you add threads + minds + mastodon - we are talking almost twitter big in terms of users across the network. The curiosity is how TH those networks with their very different content philosophies get along. Like mastodon is largely far left. They have hate speech policies. Threads probably pretty censorious. Similar to FB/insta. Probably not as bad as Mastodon tho. And there's Minds. It's no Gab, but there still could be issues, lol. Our new neighbours! 😅

Shit, so I just found out Meta's 'Threads' app plans to join the fediverse. Which means in future Minds users will have access to Mastodon, Nostr, and Threads users content. (And vice versa).

The pure liberty option is basically any country before it forms a govt or leadership (early settlers, countries with disposed govts etc)Closest we ever get is somewhat smaller govt. Even that might be a temporary state that really only exists a tiny number of places globally. For something to work it needs to be successful and sustainable. In truth every society needs some sort of organizational hierarchy (to be able to respond to externals at a minimum) and to be in the truely successful catergory of empire (like the earlier US empire), one needs more than rights one also needs responsibilities - values of societal contribution, and sense of community and shared aim that go well beyond individualism. Societies tend to become less traditionalist, and more libertine as time goes on - but there is a sweet spot that both encourages innovation and maximizes economic output. That sweet spot is neither individualist nor collectivist but rather a blend. However it tends not to last, instead the shared values, responsibilities and objectives decay into a sort of hedonistic individualism, economic output diminishes, money printing and debt climb. It's ye old 'strong men, weak men'. Basically a collection of unconnected individuals is not a society.

Any chance we could get something in terms of a feed that's a mixture of chronological and trending?
