The best thing about Prodigal Son is Michael Sheen. Unfortunately, he doesn't get much screen time. Still, this show is bizarre and crazy enough that I'll keep watching it.#tv #ProdigalSon

The only reason I use my American Express card for shopping is because of the Return Protection benefit. It gives me the peace of mind that I can return something past some retailer's short return period. Amex is removing this benefit from most cards at the beginning of next year. Disappointing. There's no reason to carry my Amex anymore. Visa is taken everywhere and Amex is not.https://www.dansdeals.com/credit-cards/major-changes-coming-american-express-benefits-master-chart-whats-added-removed/

I'm working my way through this seasons' new broadcast shows and so far it has been "meh".The only new show that I was excited for was Stumptown because of Cobie Smulders. But even that show got off to a meh kind of start. https://time.com/5680427/fall-2019-network-tv/?linkId=74470241#tv

People are already not coming to the theaters to watch movies, so what do theaters do to entice more moviegoers? Run more ads on top of the 15-20 minutes of trailers being shown before the movie starts. Here's how you get people in seats: Make going to the movies as enjoyable as sitting on the couch at home while streaming a movie. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/movie-theaters-new-gamble-ads-mixed-trailers-1243069?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=THR%27s%20Today%20in%20Entertainment_2019-09-28%2007:01:00_aweprin&utm_term=hollywoodreporter_tie#movies

Put the EdgeRouter 4 back. Re-purposing IPFire box as a UNMS server. Fun with networks!

My new #pfsense router/firewall at home has been running for a week and it's been great! It replaces a failed OPNsense build, an IPFire build and previous to all of that an EdgeRouter 4. It's running on a Protectli Vault FW4B/Celeron J3160/8GB RAM/250GB Samsung mSATA SSD.

Microsoft has surprised many in the Linux developer community in recent years. Surprises have included bringing things like adding the Bash shell to Windows, or native OpenSSH in Windows 10, and even including Ubuntu, SUSE Linux, and Fedora all in the Windows Store. Microsoft is now going even further, with plans to ship a full Linux kernel directly in Windows 10.https://www.theverge.com/platform/amp/2019/5/6/18534687/microsoft-windows-10-linux-kernel-feature#microsoft #windows #linux #kernel
