@mischievoustomato @parker too much atrazine, everyone just trying to survive. plus most people are good natured and the govts are a pretty big monster.the best things people could do would be to stop using money, en masse, and stop buying stuff and grow seeds and share things locally. en masse.the best weapons we have are non participation in this respect.

@hacks4pancakes any good hacker should be creative enough to entertain all perspectives of ones chosen subculture.afterall the entire thing is only about 70 years old, period. if you want to include the first hackers, people transitioning from vacuum tubes to transitors and so on under shockley's command at bell labs using things like petroleum bottoms.anyhow, point is simple:if someone wants to include themselves in a thing, they learn the history and lay of the land, much like when you move to america you learn to speak english. it's just how it goes, it's human decency, and anyone calling themselves a 'hacker' *should* presumably have an inborne natural human curiosity to the point where it's neigh unstoppable like a sponge that just leaks the water out the other side, and keeps sopping. to think there are people that consider themselves hackers and want to live in THEIR relativistic culture bubble and not untoward adsorb and learn and embrace the whole thing untowhich they claim to belong to, is utterly asinine.there i've said it.

Yeah I love Elk actually, Vension for me comes a bit after beef, and ahead of Chicken, but my favorite is Bison.sourcing and freshness are everything.
