Because it's #raining, the #Pukeko lime to come out and forage. I always enjoy a spot of #birdwatching.For those who don't know, the Pukeko are a native #NewZealand #bird, that have an interesting #quirk. When they feel endangered, or concerned, they flick their tail, which displays white under feathers, as an alert to their fellow birds.

Just watched a #McDonalds #Manager berate a #handicapped #staff member, in full view of both the other staff, and the general public.This is why you should never hire McDonald's "managers" for your #business. They may adhere to McDonald's rules, but high staff #turnover and extreme #pressure environment, means they generally lack basic #professionalism.Disclaimer: there will always be exceptions to this, but they are VERY hard to find. If you do find one, celebrate their good work 👍

@mcc I've been using LineageOS on the Poco X3 Pro for about a year, and it hasn't skipped a beat. You're right about the camera app, but OpenCamer la is pretty good. Also, you can use Aurora Store as an alternative front end for the Play Store. I have zero Google apps on my phone and regret nothing. Yes there are a few gotchas like firebase notifications. But it's still worth a shot if you're feeling frisky.

@lupyuen I rocked a Voodoo 5 5500 for about 4 years back in the day. The Omega drivers extended its usefulness with Glide wrappers for OpenGL, and increased its lifespan dramatically. It was the first card I had that used an external power source, a MOLEX connection. Dual GPU on a single card. Those were the days, when technology was held together with duct tape and dreams. 😁

Because there are no #DOSBox launchers that officially support #aarm64 architectures (especially my #PineBookPro or #PinePhone), I decided to try my hand at one. It's pretty bad, but it works! It uses Python, and creates a config for use later. It's incomplete, but I might add too it later if there is enough interest. The one thing they never tell you about getting older, is the weird #aches and #pains that just randomly appear in places you never thought possible. Finger joints; Lower back; Back of the knees... its an endless barrage of weirdness. Every morning you wake up and something new aches.
