Out of an abundance of caution, I think my Sunday 12-minute run will be my last for a few weeks while I continue my #COVID recovery. Yesterday I had enough energy for a walk, though, and it didn't tire me out. Plus it gave me the mental boost I needed. Here's a #masking angle I hadn't considered before, relayed to me by a family member: "If you show up to an event with a mask on, people think you have, or recently had COVID."Wow, just... wow. People who have or recently had COVID should be staying home. People who are masking are trying to prevent the spread, that's all. Why these two basic facts are so easily confused by people is just stunning to me.No wonder we can't make any progress.#CovidIsNotOver

@rchusid thank goodness someone came up with the idea of monitoring the wastewater. It's science and fact based, and so no wacko political stance or policy changes skew it.You don't know numbers of sick people, but you can see trends and overall loads.

Found out yesterday that my kid is texting on the reg with some random "kid" (supposedly) that she doesn't know in real life.If this person is who he says he is, it's mostly harmless. He doesn't even live in the area. So I don't want to come down too hard and risk that it drives her into further underground/hidden comms.But if he's NOT, I'm worried about sextortion or some other scam.
