@purism I got the family plan, my wife and daughter are using it, we mainly use the chat right now which is great. we used to use hangouts no longer. I'm not much of a social media person, but mastadoon seems interesting. Now the fun part to get my friends and family to start using it instead of fb messenger, one I get my librem 5 I'll be off Facebook for good (I already am, but just kept the messenger on my android for some ppl)

@purism Fedora on my thinkpad running cinnamon DE, centos on my server. BTW, I want a librem laptop the only thing holding me back is an Ethernet port, I don't want to use a dongle just another thing to loose.

BTW, I want a librem laptop the only thing holding me back is an Ethernet port, I don't want to use a dongle just another thing to loose.

@lunduke I would love to see if zoiper or another VoIP software work on it. I use VoIP.ms for my cell number and use zoiper on my android phone currently. Would love to see a program I can install and configure my VoIP SIP account with.

@purism once I upgrade my home/servers, I'll be running all communication from there and will only tell friends and family this is how to talk to me.. As google and Facebook will be completely gone

@todd are you going to incorporate SIP into the dialer. I use VoIP.ms and would be great to be able to put my credentials in the default dialer instead of using another program.

@purism patiently awaiting my librem 5 the. Saving for a librem server. I love the idea of a server with pureboot running it, then to build my nextcloud and own matrix and mastodon servers on top of it for friends and family. A pretty busy 2020.
