@goofansu is tempel/skeleton/yasnippet enabled? Looks like a broken template placeholder

https://youtu.be/bq9O99TgFv4 is quite interesting, tho I'm not 100% in agreement about laptops...

More specifically, i find that laptops are more intimate, more personified. Each laptop is special and has character. This is something he mentions in the video as a negative - yes, it sucks that the vast majority of laptops are unique non-upgradable heat throttlers. But there is just nothing like curling up in bed with the machine you've been typing on for years, with whom you outlasted 2 jobs, 3 homes, and a hairstyle change. 2011 toshiba satellite l655d my beloved

@mms I use one instance of #Emacs for #exwm and another inside it for editing and stuff. Changing the config on the fly is prohibitively annoying but other than that it works fine

@dekkzz76 okay but the default scrollbar goes a page below the end of the buffer which is highly misleading and also annoying. They need to turn off scroll-bar-adjust-thumb-portion

@hendrik reasons not to use Manjaro: https://manjarno.pages.dev/If you want an Arch based system, try EndeavourOS, ArcoLinux, or Gardua.

@sachac I'm Mitch, the final entry on your list of configs for the week. That is not my config, that is just my custom theme - for both v#im and #Emacs, i might add. I'm not sure what better way to organize it, but it's not "mitch's emacs config" by a long shotThanks and happy new year

Anybody ever get #displaylink multi #hdmi adapters working on #linux? Trying to set up a home continuity thing without relying #mswindows just for drivers

@hanbruder you could wrap them all in a big function with a (call-interactively #'function arg1 arg2) around each call
