@lauren Of course the problem is that they all come out the Venice storm drain outfalls at the beach. That's why the beaches are closed right now. Lightning! Pfaugh! It's ants all the way down.

@lauren Sadly, it’s been quite a few years since Jen’s had two cats that got along. We’re down to one through natural attrition. Most of her cats live long enough to be able to vote.

@lauren Ah, "Crack in the World"! VERY fond memories of that one. Years ago, someone tried to revive the Loyola Theater in Westchester by bringing back double features, short subjects, and Bank Night. It only worked for a while, but when he was forced to close, he held The Final Event, 25 hours of PRIMO SF movies! On my birthday! Many H'wood types came. And for "Crack in the World", it turned out the producer was sitting two seats over from me.
