In short: I think that with the current growth #Mastodon, or better the #Fediverse will change a lot, maybe even to the point where people who have been on the platform won't recognize it anymore.2/4

Also, content moderation is very hard, it's much more than deleting some bad posts. Community managment is even harder.3/4

There will be some kind of centralization and it has already started. Not in a way that #Mastodon / #Fediverse will be run by one company or one instance, but probably more centralized than it was originally envisoned.4/4

@stux In reality though, mostly larger companies have a concept of "brand image". They will care for sure. Sadly there are a lot of businesses around which do not.
