Fifteen years ago we "snuck in" to Disneyland to elope guerilla-style (and thereby avoid paying Disneyland's insane event fees) but were caught in the act by Alice and the Mad Hatter. Instead of quietly alerting security, however, they insisted on being our attendants.At the time, I thought this might be the strangest part of our marriage, but no. getting to the point in #electrolysis where i'm seeing results and it is kind of magical. we gripe a lot about how much it hurts and how awkward the in-between stages are, but as things heal and skin calms down and hair doesn't grow back, it's just... low-key amazing, really.don't get me wrong, i still have weird little tufts all over, but in between? just skin. glorious.#TransJoy #TransGEM

Dear health provider: "male," "female," and "transgender" are not gender identities. I'd say please update your dropdown menu, but we all know and understand that all you've done is re-label the dropdown that used the be labeled "sex" and you don't want to actually invest work in collecting accurate data, you just want to close the ticket and tell your shareholders that you're now "inclusive." Sigh.
