       @nivex Note: being all tinfoil-hatty doesn't help convince people of your point but rather makes them question your valid points. A bunch of unfounded claims and digressions to essentially unrelated companies in there.Not trying to defend DDG as something great here, but at least it's not Google (although just barely).

       @lain Every time I open a Twitter link. Only Ctrl-F5 helps.

       @sir I think I prompted that. amdgpu detected a GPU fault and proceeded to restart it, causing the process that was doing something with the GPU to get stuck in uninterruptible sleep forever (and only a hard reset helped). Stuff like that is a regular occurrance with amdgpu sadly (like once a week).Now on Intel, I expect not much improvement.

       @quad Heh, been running that setup (except on Hetzner Cloud and with just a single routed IP) for 1-2 years now. I agree it's probably not a good idea to run anything that should be reliable on that.

       @ayo Disagree. It would be if it supported two remotes though.

       @wolf480pl @ayo Glad you asked. Both, depending on the use case.

       How would you, as network admin, prevent/block teamviewer from being used?

       @wolf480pl It's an insecure solution, and blocking it is more fun than just telling someone to stop using it.

       @mr64bit Ah, good to know. I was thinking of dropping TLS connections with a teamviewer domain in SNI, or blocking connections to IPs that have a PTR to a teamviewer domain

       @quad @izaya Well, there's this in ARM: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/50966676/why-do-arm-chips-have-an-instruction-with-javascript-in-the-name-fjcvtzs

       @quad Fun fact: I'm using a Ubiquity 10G RJ45 SFP+ module and it drops connection for 5s every time I turn off the lights

       @quad It's in a Mikrotik CSS 326, but it was equally unreliable when used in an HP NC560SFP+ PCIe card. So I'd rather blame the module. ASUS XG-C100C on both sides worked mighty fine

       @quad @wolf480pl SwOS is pants-on-head retarded. VLANs work, haven't used LA and IGMP snooping (in fact I don't even exactly know what latter is)

       @quad @wolf480pl I'd love some switch hardware that just lets you access the switching matrix directly and some sane open source software built on top of it

       Looking for a low-effort way to to toot after @sir kills his instance. Using my own domain would be nice, but I don't want to run Mastodon myself. Doesn't look like AP supports some form of domain redirect/SRV records :/
