       @clive story generators really get me, and oddly I would never have predicted that about myself. Specifically Dwarf Fortress and Rimworld. They grab me, because of the story, in a way that e.g. factorio/citiesSkylines/mindustry don't because the narrative is less apparent in those.

       @clive something about textual games never did it for me. I think maybe The Hobbit https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hobbit_(1982_video_game) might have ruined the genre for me early on…
