So I was listening to the radio last night when the DJ was asking people if they would take a pay cut to continue to work from home. And that just struck me as backwards. For those of us working from home for the last year, at higher productivity (at least according to our management at my company), why should we take a pay cut? If a company has office space, and hasn't had people there for a year, they've saved on electricity, heating, cooling, and cleaning. To say the least.

@dave The age of sitting in a big office with lots of other people is an antiquated idea. Although we see lots of companies trying to force the genie back into the bottle, people have had a taste of it, and found that it helps work life balance, job satisfaction, and often productivity. When management finally learns this it will be better for everyone. Maybe we'll actually see more growth in tech unions.#capitalism #layoffs #tech #union
