To state the obvious, I don't mind whatsoever people explaining why they disagree with me. What I despise is the attempt to silence opposing views and smear them with lazy or deliberately malicious labels (racism, sexism etc). If you do the former I'll respectfully disagree or maybe even moderate my opinion if your argument is strong enough. If you do the latter you're a weasel and you deserve whatever vitriol comes your way.

Dorsey is chief weasel. Unlimited wealth, power, influence and deliberately tries to use his close to monopolistic platform to silence opposing viewpoints. In the process he destroys lives (Covington kid, Rittenhouse, working class communities burnt down during BLM/Antifa riots) while he sits in his multimillion dollar penthouse. He deserves whatever vitriol comes his way (and he doesn't get much because pretty much the whole tech/Bitcoin community tries to paint him as a powerless bystander)

There are 2 possibilities with all the Covid vaccine boosters you'll be asked to take in future months/years to travel.1) Sane(ish) - you must have had a Covid vaccine in previous 6 months to travel/enter/exit a country2) Absolute lunacy - you need to have had the first two Covid vaccines and all the boosters to travel/enter/exit a countryThe latter would require you to catch up on all the vaccines you missed. You'd potentially need to have 4+ of the same vaccine in a short space of time.

By this point the safest strategy in all areas (financial investments, health etc) is probably just to do the opposite of what the government tells you to do. Don't buy Bitcoin? Buy Bitcoin. Take a vaccine every 3-6 months? Don't. Whether it is incompetence or misaligned incentives it doesn't really matter.

@lukedashjr IoT/software in cars etc always had the security question (you shouldn't want things to online due to hackers). But this is something else. What next? Apple turns off your IoT connected fridge because you shouldn't be able to eat refrigerated food in your country?

@nvk @AaronvanW I just think the responsible thing to do is not attempt a soft fork activation until there is community consensus for it. If there isn't you shouldn't attempt it at all regardless of what activation mechanism
