I have a limited supply of sympathy for others. I don't give any of it to people who's problems are their own fault. My sympathy is all reserved for the actually disabled, for people who have lost loved ones, and for the victims of crime. If you do something stupid, and are suffering for it, good. Maybe you won't do that again. I don't know. What I do know is, physical skin to skin contact is important for newborns. It causes them to bond to their mother. They don't want the surrogate to bond with the baby, so they give it to the 'mother'. The baby learns their mother's scent, and the contact releases oxytocin which fosters well being.I'm not saying I support surrogacy. I'm just saying there may be an innocent reason for what we see in this image.

I had a painful dream today. Woke me up after only a couple of hours of sleep.I dreamed I had dropped my dad off somewhere. But then I realized I hadn’t called him in several days and I felt bad about that. Suddenly remembered he was gone, and I broke down in the dream. Screaming and sobbing, until I woke up. Now I just hope I can get back to sleep.If you haven’t done so in a while, give your dad a call. Even if you have. I’m sure he’d appreciate it.
