After some German unions yesterday, more than 60 (!!) German universities left #X/#Twitter today. Some are already active on #Mastodon. They justified this with their commitment to fact-based communication and against antidemocratic forces. With 100 more the picture desn't change that much: #Matodon clearly in the lead, but it absolutely shows, that is possible to reach an audience beyond that in the #Fediverse. Not to forget, there were many many many likes in #Lemmy before the post was deleted at lemmy.world.#SocialMedia

That means, this sheet is more powerful than the one I built on #GoogleDocs. That's all thanks to #DataTables and the very helpful community there.I'm quite certain, that there are still mistakes with the languages and the country of origin, so if you spot one, please tell me. @Flipboard has a helpful sheet with all accounts, they federated, but it doesn't contain languages and no country for about half of them.

Well, now also in English: As far as I know, @heiseonline is now the (EDIT:) third media organization with it's own instance on #Peertube to share #videos directly in the #Fediverse. The first channel to look out for is @ct_3003, but there are more to come. I hope, we're only the beginning, so let's spread the word!#SocialMedia

OK, das ist ziemlich cool: Der Macher des sowieso ganz großartigen Podcasts #SearchEngine - @pj - hat zusammen mit @Casey und @kevin (von @feed und #HardFork) eine #Mastodon-Instanz ins Leben gerufen. In einer Podcast-Folge haben sie Hörer*innen aufgefordert, sich dort anzumelden. Jetzt sind schon tausende dem gefolgt und sie sind begeistert - stolpern aber auch über Schwierigkeiten.
