       @brewsterkahle This was one of the most consequential moments in American history that a solitary person consciously decided to make happen. Not only did it lead in substantial part to Nixon’s downfall, it exposed venal political decision making that led to enormous mortal tolls. It also, indirectly, exposed McNamara as a war criminal who intentionally executed a policy of killing tens (hundreds?) of thousands of civilians during the last stages of WWII.
