@GossiTheDog For me it says "Awaiting approval". I had followed your infosec.exchange account.

@fl0wn @GossiTheDog Yes, it was likely a bug in the system. Just letting them know what it showed for me.I cancelled the "request" and submitted it again and it seems to have worked, so all good for me but there could be 10K other requests in the same situation.

@mjg59 I had to buy a smart phone during covid to comply with the QR code scanning requirements. My previous phone still works and I have gone back to it again.

@sneak Encryption is accepted by governments as long as they still have a way to attribute traffic in their filters. Between this and plaintext SNI, they may have found a comfortable balance.

@lowqualityfacts I thought you only did low quality facts. Are you branching out to include truth now?

@todayilearned and the stinger nets that try to block the larger Box Jellyfish don't work against the tiny Irukandji.

@kaia If I am never going to click on an ad, then I am costing everyone in the industry money by letting ads load and it is costing me money in electricity to see the ad. It is more ethical for me to block them completely, and save everyone electricity and money.

@stefano I have been alarmed by Little Snitch alerts on Mac which show Outlook trying to resolve URLs when I click on them. They should only be resolved by my chosen browser, not by an invisible system in my mail application.#cybersecurity

@stefano It's work, which for me is cybersecurity, so I notice. Almost all others wouldn't notice and Outlook would be out resolving potentially sensitive URLs without their knowledge and telling Microsoft (which possibly includes Bing) about the results.

@MelissaBearTrix Corruptly installing oneself as minister for everything should not earn someone that honour.
