@futurebird FYI. I just learned about honeypot ants… blew my mind!It was on QI (a British TV show) and my second thought (after whaaaaat?) was of you!As in, I wonder if they ever tooted about these ants.

@futurebird Where I used to live there are;- Charitably organizations that will come to your place to pick up everything that you wish to donate and that they think can be useful for someone, for free. - Converted phone booths chock full of books that you can take from or add to, for free.- Community repair shops- An online library for lending everything from tools to appliances.Amazingly I only ever used option 1. They took pretty much my entire apartment when we left.

@futurebird to get into our tub, you had enter from the slanted, short side. Okay enough getting in when it is dry, death trap when it's wet! I am super happy with my walk-in shower.(I remember swimming in the tub... when I was 6, 7? My mom mostly remember the awful mess I left with water everywhere :D)

@futurebird my first year in NYC I had to look it up... created envelopes for each and handed them over personally, with a little thank you card.They were great guys (all guys).
