Hey there #linux People:Has the time finally come to switch from Windows to Linux?I still mainly use Windows for Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom(and I pay for that)and gaming.I've seen #steamonlinux came a long way, but #Uplay and #Origin *shuddering* don't seem to work though #battlenet ran fine some years ago through WINE.So basically it's Adobe that still ties me to Windows - is there a way around?Also I use a 3 monitor-setup 'cause it helps me concentrate. Will this still work flawlessly?

What #FOSS app can you recommend for activity tracking/#cycling /#running?I'm using #opentracks since #Runtastic belongs to #Adidasand I miss the feature of colored tracks, depending on my pace.Also the accuracy is.....all over the place to put it nicely. I tried to tinker with it, but won't get satisfying results.

Heyho Fediverse,wie würdet ihr die Gründung eines Makerspaces/Reperaturcafés angehen? Einen Raum kann ich eventuell bekommen, Dinge dort zu lagern wird aber eher schwierig. Ich sehe hier die Notwendigkeit für so etwas, auch im Hinblick auf "Nachwuchsförderung".Wie läuft da die Versicherung, wo und wie darf man Gelder sammeln, wer haftet wenn etwas Defektes trotz Arbeit und Material defekt bleibt oder wie nehme ich sowas aus?#makerspace #maker #righttorepair #techrepair #bikerepair

@piggo It apperently really is - Phase is most likely on the right - as far as I've learned it.Its easy to remember:Fascist are brown (cable color),fascist are right-wing (side).Brown goes zip-brrt - Brown no good for health - like fascists

@piggo I moved to a house where parts of the electrics are still "traditionally grounded" (pre 70's) and since you need to connect your N to PE for this, the old sockets only had the possibility to do so on the left part of the socket - so it seems we really have different rules of thumb for this - oddly(I also removed 2 of these sockets altogether and replaced 3 of the others with sockets with integrated brakers - just 2 of these shocking hazards left *shuddering*)

Yay - Festlandaufenthalt - Wahrscheinlich über 2 Monate.Objektiv betrachtet super.Subjektiv mega Stress.Bedeutet für euch auch weniger Meer-Content von mir.Das würde bedeuten ich kann am Wochenende Leute besuchen die per ÖPNV erreichbar wären - innerhalb eines bestimmten Radiuses wenn ich mich nicht übers Wochenende abmelde 🫠Jemand Bock?
