@compostablespork yeah, I think that's part of why I found this thought experiment charming - usually we think of cannibalism as evil & shocking, or sad and desperate, or occasionally serious and respectful if it's a culture that has a ritual context for it. This was just a boring normal Monday afternoon.(i would 100% do survival cannibalism though, I would rather not die)

@JordiGH I'm making us$150k/yr at a nonprofit hospital. I find myself kind of hard to benchmark, "data scientist" has pretty different meanings across companies/industries and there aren't that many of us working in health care. But I'm probably underpaid. I would make easily another $100k jumping ship for a FAANG, if I could pass their technical interviews.
