@element @amatecha @matrix @liaizon I understand you mean you sell encrypted messaging software / solutions / platform / consultancy to governments (or whoever), but many seem to have understood you sell encrypted *messages* to them.Either they are a bit overparanoid, or I am far too naive.Or both.

@chowderman @kravietz actual conversation: a middle aged Spanish sailor complains that many of his mates are now being replaced by foreign workers, with lower salaries. An older, retired sailor harshly interrupts him: "Are you too young to remember when we replaced the French and the British in the same jobs?"

@chowderman @kravietz True, working class resentment of immigration is real. Paradoxically: at the same time, the ships where the above sailors work have serious difficulties filling all positions on board.

@t_mkdf @chowderman @kravietz AFAICT, frowning upon horse meat is a purely cultural issue - and a very local one. There are many places in Europe where eating horse meat was perfectly normal (still is, but it has become expensive).

@stux the most shocking aspect is not the document theft and mishandling , but the terrible taste for decoration. Someone is a millionaire, political figure, former US president and his bathroom looks like that????

@oatmeal @WahbAllat Telefónica being a formerly public company, any significant purchase of shares by a foreign investor can be expected to attract some public scrutiny (as it happened when BlackRock purchased almost 5%). The date for this purchase could not be much worse, just days after a new law imposed further foreign investment restrictions on strategic companies, and the week Twitter is accused of deliberately leaking to Saudi Arabia the identities of Saudi activists.

@Nonilex Using soldiers to do the job of policemen is incredibly misguided.

@bkastl Please @EUCommission - this is shameful. Why does the President of the EUCommission take marketing releases from foreign executives as if they were scientific statements? Just because they are billionaires hyped by media?

@Nonilex A prince of the British royal family: "I have no one to look after me".Sounds on par with "Let them eat cake".
