@ZDF Ich würde gerne die Notwendigkeit von Dauerlogos in der linken oberen Ecke in der Mediathek diskutieren (und auch die Größe), da das die Position ist, die am stärksten ablenkt.Persönlich nutze ich die Programme der ZDF Gruppe wegen des Logos links oben nur noch als Hintergrundtapete.Für Infosendungen & billige Lacher ist das tolerierbar. Für Fiktion ist es das für mich nicht mehr, spätestens seit man bei anderen Streamern Fiktion ohne Dauereinblendungen konzentriert ansehen kann.

@simon I use inwx.com. Regarding payment they allow keeping money in your client account and are really good at reminding you way in advance a couple of times if there’s not enough money in the account to perform renewals, like over a month in advance. As I’m in Germany I usually pay them via bank transfer.

@simon I think by now most “normal” people have played with it, and are a bit bored by the hype. And they have not found a usage for it, where the occasional wrong answer isn’t a problem. I found mine (language learning and simple beginners CSS, JavaScript problems) and still am amazed on a daily basis.

@simon that’s true. They will only have played with the free one. But if you play with gpt-4 you can get a lot of nonsense. Just did some random tests on trivia (https://chat.openai.com/share/83bebce4-32ad-49da-a573-65eaaae6a26d) and it’s hit and miss. A normal person would probably concentrate on what it gets wrong.

@simon maybe try Isaac, the Kaylon from the Orville, that show that’s more Star Trek than Star Trek and should be relevant for a few more years. (I had to google Jarvis… and I generally like Star Trek, but from the 90s on my access to spin offs was limited)

@simon My AOL pages from way back when are still available via the way back machine, I’d self host and make sure they visit me. You could also release yearly omnibus-editions in ebook format. (personally never got around to getting a proper blog, because I couldn’t decide on a css and there’s also the question of running a blog in English or my native language, maybe I’ll manage a decision in 2024)
