       @neauoire I’m not even part of it but just by following you and some of the other people in merveilles I already feel it has influenced me a lot. I already put a 2 year plan to become independent and be able to work on projects that really matter to me

       @sneak I’d go a bit further and say it’s the same for almost any cult company/technology … as soon as you aren’t part of the hate/fan club people get confused like if there was no place for simply trying to judge a technology/company objectively

       @stunder @neauoire I had one interview with FB, passed a couple of rounds and in each of them asked the interviewers about their work/life balance. I got such toxic answers or attitudes that I decided not to continue with the process

       @stunder @neauoire oh wow, I don’t mind having the odd engineer who wants/needs to make a bit extra but if that’s your culture, there’s something definitely not working. And the crazy thing is many still see that as the measuring bar for the entire industry.

       @meeper @mntmn the build quality is outstanding in my opinion and the entire process of building it was FUN, like I'm just finding an excuse to open it again to do an upgrade 😅 ... I'll write a blog post to share my opinion in more detail though
