Another piece of ocarina practice session audio. Recently started learning Sojiro's Hometown Scenery, and got it down pretty quickly. Provisional song art for the piece Sunny I've been working on. If I was remotely skilled with image editing, I'd add my ocarina to the piece in the same animation style. I'm consistently getting the melody in a single take, so at this point just need to settle on what ornamentation I want to add and get a clean track without local aircraft buzzing overhead mid-recording. #music #ocarina #OcarinaMusic

Anime Expo was a blast minus hotel issues with bad AC (had to switch rooms the second day). Didn't get much time playing the ocarina overall, but serenaded an Astarion cosplayer last night with the Song of Balduran, and got in a little playing outside the exhibition hall today. Got info from a photographer to captured me playing while in my Haganezuka cosplay. Will be getting in more playing at SDCC later this month, including busking for the first time while Preview Night is happening.

I am still amazed at the overwhelming outpouring of support from the Skirmish yesterday. A lot of thank yous are in order.Without a doubt, I want to perform in more Skirmishes and other DeMu events in the future. I'm also pleased to announce that if you're in the San Diego area (or close enough to go to the Escondido Renaissance Faire), I will be performing an ocarina show at the event, the last weekend of October and the first weekend of November!

Pro tip:While brushing up on React for my new job starting next week, I found out about a feature in Webpack that will save me massive amounts of time:Use `debugger;` to set a breakpoint in your code. When you run the rebuilt code with a Chromium browser debugger running (haven't tested on Firefox), your code will automatically breakpoint on that line when the code runs. I cannot overstate how nice it is to not have to search through sourcemaps to do the same thing.
