@internetarchive Welp, it didn't preserve Shagnasty's Penis Owner's Manual, Cheesey Peas, or a lot of other really cool sites I remember.That's why, if I find a site extremely valuable for reference, I download it myself with httrack.Recipes? A folder full of text files!!

@futurebird FYI, I've been mistaken for a homeless person. One time a guy gave me a 20 and told me to get a good meal. One block from my home. I didn't object. ð So it's not always easy to distinguish between homeless peeps and weird ferals. ðĪĢ

@aral I remember the first time I encountered an Apple interface, on somebody's laptop at a meeting. Swore I'd never put up with so much useless, distracting animation. Windwoes glassiness just made titlebars hard to read. My decroded eyes like it simple.I have learned to like one - quite optional -clickbling effect of Linux Mint. When the eye-con momentarily flies out of the panel, I know my clumsy mouse-hand really hit the right spot ðĪĢ But nothing clamors for my attention otherwise.
