       My aunt gave me a drop spindle she got 45 years ago from her then 90-year old aunt in Greece, whose husband was a shepard. I have no clue how to use this spindle. If anyone knows…???

       Thanks everyone for answering! I watched a few videos now and tried spinning with it but it only breaks the wool or the threas. The bottom part doesn’t have a pointy part and putting it in a little bowl didn’t help rotating so i guess it needs to hang in the air. But i need to find somebody who can show me before i drop the spindle again …
