@darnell@one.darnell.one Not sure I follow what you mean as https://mastodon.social/@mark@minds.com/110984167755007947 is rendering the full webfinger correctly. We don't have plans to reverse the webfinger to the local url any time soon.Sadly a lot of activitypub implementations are relying on HTML links which, in my opinion, are at risk of click jacking attacks. It would be better if sites instead sent the full webfinger and rebuilt the link themselves.

@silverpill@mitra.social That is not the case with Mastodon, which is using the 'url' for href in the content html and using the 'id'/'uri' in the Mention href.
