Does anyone have good examples of company mission statements or manifestos that they actually like? Not the BS that's clearly just there to make the company sound better. I'm talking about genuine, sincere mission statements that are clearly coming from a desire to do good and operate with values at heart. (Asking because I'm drafting one for my business)

Technology is always a reflection of the society that invents or produces it.For example, when my mother was trying to buy a dishwasher in Manila back in 2016, she walked around every major electronics store with no luck. Why? Because in the Philippines, if you could afford to buy a dishwasher, you were rich enough to hire household help.And with so many poor people who need those types of jobs, if you could afford a maid and didn’t hire one - you were viewed as a greedy, selfish jerk.

To this day I can’t forget the tone with which she recounted how much all the store staff laughed at her when she asked if they had any dishwashers available.They’d reply “a dishwasher? You can’t hire one in an electronics store”

By the way, I wouldn’t be shocked if they are available now. Times change. But back then we were stumped.I had many rich friends in Manila and I had been to many of their houses and I never saw a single dishwasher appliance around.
